Siebeldingen

Project Summary

The field “Siebeldingen” is located near Landau, at the Western rim of the Upper Rhine Graben, which is the most favourable geological region in Germany. The license area intersects an old oilfield, where extensive exploration and drilling was conducted in the past. Some wells indicate the highest geothermal gradients measured in Germany. Geothermeon is currently investigating the suitability of the field for developing a HFR/EGS project.
